If you excel at your job, a particular skill or role and have been promoted to manage people, your past success does not ensure future success. Transitioning from Peer to Supervisor can be hard, but there are tools out there to assist with this transition. Through a facilitator led process, in connection with peers that are new to leading others, you can learn together about the ‘essential skills’, emotional intelligence, and management tools available to develop your leadership style and increase your effectiveness as a manager. The tools and skills learned within this program will develop strong leadership skills that can be used throughout your journey as a leader. All sessions will be recorded, and materials will be provided for each module. This online program can also be customized for your organization with the option of being delivered in person.

Participants will go through a facilitated process on looking within to develop their team dynamic skills and truly understand what it means to be a productive team member with all types of personalities. The goal is to completely redefine teamwork and collaboration. Transformational Leadership and Change Management
Change is complicated. Change Management should be simple. Many change initiatives fail to achieve their objectives, which causes leaders to dread change and teams to approach change with dismay. Participants will learn to manage change through transformational leadership exercising idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration Strategies for effectively responding to individual change reactions that will empower your team by building psychological capital throughout the process will also be explored. |

TUF Mind Training: Thinking Under Fire
Building Emotional Intelligence by strengthening the mind-body connection The purpose of mindful attention training is to begin to see yourself exactly as you are now, to examine, and to let go. Studies have shown a direct relationship between the time spent on Mindful attention training and increased understanding, flexibility, acceptance, and compassion. The way you experience life is unconsciously transformed over time. When you develop compassion for yourself, you naturally are more compassionate to others and are able to relate to the world from a deeper and less judgmental perspective. |

Module 8 – Leadership Analytics and Performance Management
Participants will combine their learned skills using case study analysis. They will use a goal setting and problem solving tool (IDROP) to assist in setting goals together with those that they lead. Then, they will learn how to use this tool in the performance management process. |
